Surah Yasin ~ Audio and Text with Translations
Surah Yasin is the 36th chapter (Surah) of the Quran and is known as the heart of the Quran. Revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during the Meccan Period, this Surah has many spiritual benefits: Reading and listening to this Surah strengthens one’s connection with Allah SWT, seeking his mercy and forgiveness, and helps in spiritual progress. As per hadith, the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever recites Surah Yasin in the morning, Allah will take care of his needs for the day.”

| بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ یٰسٓ(1) وَ الْقُرْاٰنِ الْحَكِیْمِ(2) اِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ(3) عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیْمٍﭤ(4) تَنْزِیْلَ الْعَزِیْزِ الرَّحِیْمِ(5) لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّاۤ اُنْذِرَ اٰبَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غٰفِلُوْنَ(6) لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلٰۤى اَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ(7) اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِیْۤ اَعْنَاقِهِمْ اَغْلٰلًا فَهِیَ اِلَى الْاَذْقَانِ فَهُمْ مُّقْمَحُوْنَ(8) وَ جَعَلْنَا مِنْۢ بَیْنِ اَیْدِیْهِمْ سَدًّا وَّ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَاَغْشَیْنٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا یُبْصِرُوْنَ(9) وَ سَوَآءٌ عَلَیْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ(10) اِنَّمَا تُنْذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَ خَشِیَ الرَّحْمٰنَ بِالْغَیْبِۚ-فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَّ اَجْرٍ كَرِیْمٍ(11) اِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْیِ الْمَوْتٰى وَ نَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوْا وَ اٰثَارَهُمْۣؕ-وَ كُلَّ شَیْءٍ اَحْصَیْنٰهُ فِیْۤ اِمَامٍ مُّبِیْنٍ(12) وَ اضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَّثَلًا اَصْحٰبَ الْقَرْیَةِۘ-اِذْ جَآءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُوْنَ(13) اِذْ اَرْسَلْنَاۤ اِلَیْهِمُ اثْنَیْنِ فَكَذَّبُوْهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوْۤا اِنَّاۤ اِلَیْكُمْ مُّرْسَلُوْنَ(14) قَالُوْا مَاۤ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَاۙ-وَ مَاۤ اَنْزَلَ الرَّحْمٰنُ مِنْ شَیْءٍۙ-اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا تَكْذِبُوْنَ(15) قَالُوْا رَبُّنَا یَعْلَمُ اِنَّاۤ اِلَیْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُوْنَ(16) وَ مَا عَلَیْنَاۤ اِلَّا الْبَلٰغُ الْمُبِیْنُ(17) قَالُوْۤا اِنَّا تَطَیَّرْنَا بِكُمْۚ-لَىٕنْ لَّمْ تَنْتَهُوْا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَ لَیَمَسَّنَّكُمْ مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ اَلِیْمٌ(18) قَالُوْا طَآىٕرُكُمْ مَّعَكُمْؕ-اَىٕنْ ذُكِّرْتُمْؕ-بَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُوْنَ(19) وَ جَآءَ مِنْ اَقْصَا الْمَدِیْنَةِ رَجُلٌ یَّسْعٰى قَالَ یٰقَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ(20) اتَّبِعُوْا مَنْ لَّا یَسْــٴَـلُكُمْ اَجْرًا وَّ هُمْ مُّهْتَدُوْنَ(21) وَ مَا لِیَ لَاۤ اَعْبُدُ الَّذِیْ فَطَرَنِیْ وَ اِلَیْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ(22) ءَاَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖۤ اٰلِهَةً اِنْ یُّرِدْنِ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّیْ شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَیْــٴًـا وَّ لَا یُنْقِذُوْنِ(23) اِنِّیْۤ اِذًا لَّفِیْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیْنٍ(24) اِنِّیْۤ اٰمَنْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُوْنِﭤ(25) قِیْلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَؕ-قَالَ یٰلَیْتَ قَوْمِیْ یَعْلَمُوْنَ(26) بِمَا غَفَرَ لِیْ رَبِّیْ وَ جَعَلَنِیْ مِنَ الْمُكْرَمِیْنَ(27) وَ مَاۤ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلٰى قَوْمِهٖ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ مِنْ جُنْدٍ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَ مَا كُنَّا مُنْزِلِیْنَ(28) اِنْ كَانَتْ اِلَّا صَیْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَاِذَا هُمْ خٰمِدُوْنَ(29) یٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِۣۚ-مَا یَاْتِیْهِمْ مِّنْ رَّسُوْلٍ اِلَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ(30) اَلَمْ یَرَوْا كَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنَ الْقُرُوْنِ اَنَّهُمْ اِلَیْهِمْ لَا یَرْجِعُوْنَﭤ(31) وَ اِنْ كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِیْعٌ لَّدَیْنَا مُحْضَرُوْنَ(32) وَ اٰیَةٌ لَّهُمُ الْاَرْضُ الْمَیْتَةُ ۚۖ-اَحْیَیْنٰهَا وَ اَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ یَاْكُلُوْنَ(33) وَ جَعَلْنَا فِیْهَا جَنّٰتٍ مِّنْ نَّخِیْلٍ وَّ اَعْنَابٍ وَّ فَجَّرْنَا فِیْهَا مِنَ الْعُیُوْنِ(34) لِیَاْكُلُوْا مِنْ ثَمَرِهٖۙ-وَ مَا عَمِلَتْهُ اَیْدِیْهِمْؕ-اَفَلَا یَشْكُرُوْنَ(35) سُبْحٰنَ الَّذِیْ خَلَقَ الْاَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنْۢبِتُ الْاَرْضُ وَ مِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَ مِمَّا لَا یَعْلَمُوْنَ(36) وَ اٰیَةٌ لَّهُمُ الَّیْلُ ۚۖ-نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَاِذَا هُمْ مُّظْلِمُوْنَ(37) وَ الشَّمْسُ تَجْرِیْ لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَاؕ-ذٰلِكَ تَقْدِیْرُ الْعَزِیْزِ الْعَلِیْمِﭤ(38) وَ الْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتّٰى عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُوْنِ الْقَدِیْمِ(39) لَا الشَّمْسُ یَنْۢبَغِیْ لَهَاۤ اَنْ تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَ لَا الَّیْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِؕ-وَ كُلٌّ فِیْ فَلَكٍ یَّسْبَحُوْنَ(40) وَ اٰیَةٌ لَّهُمْ اَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّیَّتَهُمْ فِی الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُوْنِ(41) وَ خَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ مِّثْلِهٖ مَا یَرْكَبُوْنَ(42) وَ اِنْ نَّشَاْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِیْخَ لَهُمْ وَ لَا هُمْ یُنْقَذُوْنَ(43) اِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَ مَتَاعًا اِلٰى حِیْنٍ(44) وَ اِذَا قِیْلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوْا مَا بَیْنَ اَیْدِیْكُمْ وَ مَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ(45) وَ مَا تَاْتِیْهِمْ مِّنْ اٰیَةٍ مِّنْ اٰیٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ اِلَّا كَانُوْا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِیْنَ(46) وَ اِذَا قِیْلَ لَهُمْ اَنْفِقُوْا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللّٰهُۙ-قَالَ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا لِلَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اَنُطْعِمُ مَنْ لَّوْ یَشَآءُ اللّٰهُ اَطْعَمَهٗۤ ﳓ اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا فِیْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیْنٍ(47) وَ یَقُوْلُوْنَ مَتٰى هٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ(48) مَا یَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَّا صَیْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً تَاْخُذُهُمْ وَ هُمْ یَخِصِّمُوْنَ(49) فَلَا یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَ تَوْصِیَةً وَّ لَاۤ اِلٰۤى اَهْلِهِمْ یَرْجِعُوْنَ(50) وَ نُفِخَ فِی الصُّوْرِ فَاِذَا هُمْ مِّنَ الْاَجْدَاثِ اِلٰى رَبِّهِمْ یَنْسِلُوْنَ(51) قَالُوْا یٰوَیْلَنَا مَنْۢ بَعَثَنَا مِنْ مَّرْقَدِنَاﱃ هٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَ صَدَقَ الْمُرْسَلُوْنَ(52) اِنْ كَانَتْ اِلَّا صَیْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَاِذَا هُمْ جَمِیْعٌ لَّدَیْنَا مُحْضَرُوْنَ(53) فَالْیَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَیْــٴًـا وَّ لَا تُجْزَوْنَ اِلَّا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ(54) اِنَّ اَصْحٰبَ الْجَنَّةِ الْیَوْمَ فِیْ شُغُلٍ فٰكِهُوْنَ(55) هُمْ وَ اَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِیْ ظِلٰلٍ عَلَى الْاَرَآىٕكِ مُتَّكِــٴُـوْنَ (56) لَهُمْ فِیْهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّ لَهُمْ مَّا یَدَّعُوْنَ(57) سَلٰمٌ- قَوْلًا مِّنْ رَّبٍّ رَّحِیْمٍ(58) وَ امْتَازُوا الْیَوْمَ اَیُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ(59) اَلَمْ اَعْهَدْ اِلَیْكُمْ یٰبَنِیْۤ اٰدَمَ اَنْ لَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّیْطٰنَۚ-اِنَّهٗ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِیْنٌ(60) وَّ اَنِ اعْبُدُوْنِیْﳳ-هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِیْمٌ(61) وَ لَقَدْ اَضَلَّ مِنْكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِیْرًاؕ-اَفَلَمْ تَكُوْنُوْا تَعْقِلُوْنَ(62) هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِیْ كُنْتُمْ تُوْعَدُوْنَ(63) اِصْلَوْهَا الْیَوْمَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُوْنَ(64) اَلْیَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلٰۤى اَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَ تُكَلِّمُنَاۤ اَیْدِیْهِمْ وَ تَشْهَدُ اَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَكْسِبُوْنَ(65) وَ لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلٰۤى اَعْیُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَاَنّٰى یُبْصِرُوْنَ(66) وَ لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنٰهُمْ عَلٰى مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْا مُضِیًّا وَّ لَا یَرْجِعُوْنَ(67) وَ مَنْ نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِی الْخَلْقِؕ-اَفَلَا یَعْقِلُوْنَ(68) وَ مَا عَلَّمْنٰهُ الشِّعْرَ وَ مَا یَنْۢبَغِیْ لَهٗؕ-اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَّ قُرْاٰنٌ مُّبِیْنٌ(69) لِّیُنْذِرَ مَنْ كَانَ حَیًّا وَّ یَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(70) اَوَ لَمْ یَرَوْا اَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ اَیْدِیْنَاۤ اَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مٰلِكُوْنَ(71) وَ ذَلَّلْنٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوْبُهُمْ وَ مِنْهَا یَاْكُلُوْنَ(72) وَ لَهُمْ فِیْهَا مَنَافِعُ وَ مَشَارِبُؕ-اَفَلَا یَشْكُرُوْنَ(73) وَ اتَّخَذُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اٰلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ یُنْصَرُوْنَﭤ(74) لَا یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَ نَصْرَهُمْۙ-وَ هُمْ لَهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُّحْضَرُوْنَ(75) فَلَا یَحْزُنْكَ قَوْلُهُمْۘ-اِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا یُسِرُّوْنَ وَ مَا یُعْلِنُوْنَ(76) اَوَ لَمْ یَرَ الْاِنْسَانُ اَنَّا خَلَقْنٰهُ مِنْ نُّطْفَةٍ فَاِذَا هُوَ خَصِیْمٌ مُّبِیْنٌ(77) وَ ضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَّ نَسِیَ خَلْقَهٗؕ-قَالَ مَنْ یُّحْیِ الْعِظَامَ وَ هِیَ رَمِیْمٌ(78) قُلْ یُحْیِیْهَا الَّذِیْۤ اَنْشَاَهَاۤ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍؕ-وَ هُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِیْمُﰳ(79) الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الْاَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَاِذَاۤ اَنْتُمْ مِّنْهُ تُوْقِدُوْنَ(80) اَوَ لَیْسَ الَّذِیْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰۤى اَنْ یَّخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْﳳ-بَلٰىۗ-وَ هُوَ الْخَلّٰقُ الْعَلِیْمُ(81) اِنَّمَاۤ اَمْرُهٗۤ اِذَاۤ اَرَادَ شَیْــٴًـا اَنْ یَّقُوْلَ لَهٗ كُنْ فَیَكُوْنُ(82) فَسُبْحٰنَ الَّذِیْ بِیَدِهٖ مَلَكُوْتُ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَّ اِلَیْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ(83) |

| اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ، رحمت والاہے ۔ (1)یس۔ (2)حکمت والے قرآن کی قسم۔ (3)بیشک تم رسولوں میں سے ہو۔ (4)سیدھی راہ پر ہو۔ (5)عزت والے مہربان کا اتاراہوا۔ (6)تاکہ تم اس قوم کو ڈراؤ جس کے باپ دادا کو نہ ڈرایا گیا تو وہ غفلت میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں ۔ (7)بیشک ان میں اکثر پر بات ثابت ہوچکی ہے تو وہ ایمان نہ لائیں گے۔ (8)ہم نے ان کی گردنو ں میں طوق ڈال دئیے ہیں تو وہ ٹھوڑیوں تک ہیں تو وہ اوپر کو منہ اٹھائے ہوئے ہیں ۔ اور ہم نے ان کے آگے دیوار بنادی اور ان کے پیچھے (بھی) ایک دیوار (بنادی) پھرانہیں اوپر سے (بھی) ڈھانک دیا تو انہیں کچھ دکھائی نہیں دیتا۔(9) (10)اور تمہارا اُنہیں ڈرانا اور نہ ڈرانا ان پر برابر ہے وہ ایمان نہیں لائیں گے۔ تم تو صرف اسے ڈراتے ہو جو نصیحت کی پیروی کرے اور رحمٰن سے بغیر دیکھے ڈرے تو اسے بخشش اور عزت کے (11)ثواب کی بشارت دو۔ بیشک ہم مُردوں کو زندہ کریں گے اور ہم لکھ رہے ہیں جو (عمل) انہوں نے آگے بھیجااوران کے پیچھے چھوڑے ہوئے (12)نشانات کو اور ایک ظاہر کردینے والی کتاب میں ہر چیز ہم نے شمار کررکھی ہے۔ اور ان سے شہر والوں کی مثال بیان کرو جب ان کے پاس رسول آئے۔(13) جب ہم نے ان کی طرف دو رسول بھیجے پھر انہوں نے ان کو جھٹلایا تو ہم نے تیسرے کے ذریعے مدد کی تو ان سب نے کہاکہ بیشک ہم تمہاری طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں ۔(14) لوگوں نے کہا: تم تو ہمارے جیسے آدمی ہواور رحمٰن نے کوئی چیز نہیں اتاری، تم صرف جھوٹ بول رہے ہو۔(15) رسولوں نے کہا: ہمارا رب جانتا ہے کہ بیشک ضرور ہم تمہاری طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں ۔(16) (17)اور ہمارے ذمہ صرف صاف صاف تبلیغ کردینا ہی ہے۔ لوگوں نے کہا: ہم تمہیں منحوس سمجھتے ہیں ۔بیشک اگر تم باز نہ آئے تو ضرور ہم تمہیں سنگسار کریں گے اور ضرور تمہیں ہماری طرف سے دردناک سزا پہنچے گی۔(18) تمہاری نحوست تو تمہارے ساتھ ہے۔کیا اگر تمہیں نصیحت کی جائے (تو تم اسے بدشگونی کہتے اور انکار کرتے ہو )بلکہ تم حد سے بڑھنے والے لوگ ہو۔(19) اور شہر کے دور کے کنارے سے ایک مرد دوڑتا ہواآیا، اس نے کہا: اے میری قوم!ان رسولوں کی پیروی کرو۔(20) ایسوں کی پیروی کرو جو تم سے کوئی معاوضہ نہیں مانگتے اور وہ ہدایت یافتہ ہیں ۔(21) اور مجھے کیا ہے کہ میں اس کی عبادت نہ کروں جس نے مجھے پیدا کیا اور اسی کی طرف تم لوٹائے جاؤ گے۔(22) کیا میں اللہ کے سوا اورمعبود بنالوں کہ اگر رحمٰن مجھے کوئی نقصان پہنچانا چاہے تو اِن کی سفارش مجھے کوئی نفع نہ دے اور نہ وہ مجھے بچاسکیں گے۔(23) بیشک جب تو میں کھلی گمراہی میں ہو ں گا۔(24) بیشک میں تمہارے رب(اللہ ) پر ایمان لایا تو تم میری سنو۔(25) (اس سے) (26) فرمایا گیا کہ توجنت میں داخل ہوجا، اس نے کہا : اے کاش کہ میری قوم جان ل جیسی میرے رب نے میری مغفرت کی اور مجھے عزت والوں میں شامل کیا۔(27) اور ہم نے اس کے بعد اس کی قوم پر آسمان سے کوئی لشکر نہ اتارااور نہ ہم (وہاں کوئی لشکر) اتارنے والے تھے۔(28) وہ صرف ایک چیخ تھی توجبھی وہ بجھ کر رہ گئے۔(29) (اور کہا گیا کہ) (30)ہائے افسوس ان بندوں پرکہ ان کے پاس کوئی رسول آتا ہے تو اس سے ٹھٹھا مذاق ہی کرتے ہیں ۔ کیا انہوں نے نہ دیکھاکہ ہم نے ان سے پہلے کتنی قومیں ہلاک کردیں کہ وہ اب ان کی طرف پلٹنے والے نہیں ۔(31) اور جتنے بھی ہیں سب کے سب ہمارے حضور حاضر کئے جائیں گے۔(32) اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی مردہ زمین ہے ہم نے اسے زندہ کیا اور اس سے اناج نکالا تو اس میں سے وہ کھاتے ہیں ۔(33) اور ہم نے اس میں کھجوروں اور انگو روں کے باغ بنائے اور ہم نے اس میں کچھ چشمے بہائے۔(34) (35)تاکہ لوگ اس کے پھلوں میں سے کھائیں اور یہ ان کے ہاتھوں نے نہیں بنائے تو کیا وہ شکر ادا نہیں کریں گے؟ پاک ہے وہ جس نے سب جوڑے بنائے ،زمین کی اگائی ہوئی چیزوں سے اور لوگوں سے اور ان چیزوں سے جنہیں وہ جانتے بھی نہیں ہیں ۔(36) اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی رات ہے ہم اس پر سے دن کوکھینچ لیتے ہیں تو جبھی وہ اندھیروں میں رہ جاتے ہیں ۔(37) اور سورج اپنے ٹھہرنے کے وقت تک چلتا رہے گا، یہ زبردست، علم والے کا مقرر کیا ہوا ہے۔(38) اور چاند کے لیے ہم نے منزلیں مقرر کیں یہاں تک کہ وہ کھجور کی پرانی شاخ جیسا ہوجاتا ہے۔(39) سورج کو لائق نہیں کہ چاند کو پکڑے اور نہ رات دن پر سبقت لے جانے والی ہے اور ہر ایک ایک دائرے میں تیر رہا ہے۔(40) اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی یہ ہے کہ ہم نے ان کی نسلوں کو بھری ہوئی کشتی میں سوار کیا۔(41) اور ہم نے ان کے لیے ویسی ہی کشتیاں بنادیں جن پر سوار ہوتے ہیں ۔(42) اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو انہیں ڈبودیں تو نہ کوئی ان کی فریاد کو پہنچنے والا ہو اور نہ انہیں بچایا جائے۔(43) مگر ہماری طرف سے رحمت اور ایک وقت تک فائدہ اٹھانے (کی مہلت ہو)۔(44) اور جب ان سے فرمایا جاتا ہے ، ڈرو اس سے جو تمہارے سامنے ہے اور جو تمہارے پیچھے آنے والا ہے اس امید پر کہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے۔(45) اور جب کبھی ان کے رب کی نشانیوں سے کوئی نشانی ان کے پاس آتی ہے تو وہ اس سے منہ پھیر لیتے ہیں ۔(46) اور جب ان سے فرمایا جائے کہ اللہ کے دئیے میں سے کچھ اس کی راہ میں خرچ کرو تو کافر مسلمانوں کو کہتے ہیں کہ کیا ہم اسے کھلائیں جسے اللہ چاہتا تو کھلادیتاتم تو کھلی گمراہی میں ہی ہو۔(47) اور کہتے ہیں :یہ وعدہ کب آئے گا ؟اگر تم سچے ہو (تو بتاؤ)۔(48) وہ صرف ایک چیخ کا انتظار کررہے ہیں جو انہیں اس حالت میں پکڑ لے گی جب وہ دنیا کے جھگڑے میں پھنسے ہوئے ہوں گے۔(49) تو نہ وہ وصیت کرسکیں گے اور نہ ہی اپنے گھر والوں کی طرف پلٹ کرجاسکیں گے۔(50) اورصورمیں پھونک ماری جائے گی تواسی وقت وہ قبروں سے اپنے رب کی طرف دوڑتے چلے جائیں گے۔(51) کہیں گے: ہائے ہماری خرابی! کس نے ہمیں ہماری نیند سے جگادیا؟ یہ وہ ہے جس کا رحمٰن نے وعدہ کیا تھا اور رسولوں نے سچ فرمایا تھا۔(52) وہ تو صرف ایک چیخ ہوگی تو اسی وقت وہ سب کے سب ہمارے حضور حاضر کردئیے جائیں گے۔(53) تو آج کسی جان پر کچھ ظلم نہ ہوگا اور تمہیں تمہارے اعمال ہی کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا۔(54) بیشک جنت والے آج دل بہلانے والے کاموں میں لطف اندوز (ہو رہے) ہوں گے۔(55) وہ اور ان کی بیویاں تختوں پر تکیہ لگائے سایوں میں ہوں گے۔(56) ان کے لیے جنت میں پھل میوہ ہوگا اور ان کے لیے ہر وہ چیز ہوگی جو وہ مانگیں گے۔(57) مہربان رب کی طرف سے فرمایا ہوا سلام ہوگا۔(58) اور (کہا جائے گا) اے مجرمو! آج الگ الگ ہوجاؤ۔(59) اے اولاد ِآدم! کیا میں نے تم سے عہد نہ لیا تھاکہ شیطان کی عبادت نہ کرنا بیشک وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے۔(60) (61)اور میری عبادت کرنا،یہ سیدھی راہ ہے۔ اور بیشک اس نے تم میں سے بہت سی مخلوق کو گمراہ کردیا تو کیا تم سمجھتے نہ تھے۔(62) (63)یہ ہے وہ جہنم جس سے تمہیں ڈرایا جاتا تھا۔ اپنے کفر کے سبب آج اس میں داخل ہوجاؤ ۔(64) آج ہم ان کے مونہوں پر مہر لگادیں گے اور ان کے ہاتھ ہم سے کلام کریں گے اور ان کے پاؤں ان کے اعمال کی گواہی دیں گے۔(65) اور اگر ہم چاہتے تو ان کی آنکھیں مٹادیتے تو وہ جلدی سے راستے کی طرف جاتے تو کہاں سے دکھائی دیتا؟(66) اور اگر ہم چاہتے تو ان کی جگہ پر ہی ان کی صورتیں بدل دیتے تونہ وہ آگے بڑھ سکتے اورنہ پیچھے لوٹتے۔(67) اور جسے ہم لمبی عمر دیتے ہیں تو خلقت و بناوٹ میں ہم اسے الٹا پھیردیتے ہیں ،تو کیا وہ سمجھتے نہیں ؟(68) اور ہم نے نبی کو شعر کہنا نہ سکھایااور نہ وہ ان کی شان کے لائق ہے وہ تو نہیں مگر نصیحت اور روشن قرآن۔(69) تاکہ وہ ہر ایسے شخص کوڈرائے جو زندہ ہو اور کافروں پر بات ثابت ہوجائے ۔(70) اور کیا انہوں نے نہ دیکھا کہ ہم نے اپنے ہاتھ کے بنائے ہوئے چوپائے ان کے لیے پیدا کیے تو یہ ان کے مالک ہیں ۔(71) اورہم نے ان چوپایوں کو ان کے لیے تابع کردیاتوان چوپایوں سے کچھ ان کی سواریاں ہیں اور کچھ سے وہ کھاتے ہیں ۔(72) اور لوگوں کے لیے ان چوپایوں میں کئی طرح کے منافع اور پینے کی چیزیں ہیں تو کیا وہ لوگ شکر ادا نہیں کریں گے۔(73) اور انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا اور معبود بنالئے کہ شاید ان کی مدد ہوجائے۔(74) وہ معبوداِن کی مدد نہیں کرسکتے اور وہ لوگ خودان معبودوں کیلئے حاضر ِ خدمت لشکربنے ہوئے ہیں ۔(75) تو ان کی بات تمہیں غمگین نہ کرے بیشک ہم جانتے ہیں جو وہ چھپاتے ہیں اورجو ظاہر کرتے ہیں ۔(76) اور کیا آدمی نے نہ دیکھا کہ ہم نے اسے ایک بوند سے بنایا پھر تب ہی وہ کھلم کھلاجھگڑا کرنے والا ہے۔(77) اور ہمارے لیے مثال دیتا ہے اور اپنی پیدائش کوبھول گیا۔ کہنے لگا: ایسا کون ہے جو ہڈیوں کو زندہ کردے جبکہ وہ بالکل گلی ہوئی ہوں ۔(78) تم فرماؤ :ان ہڈیوں کو وہ زندہ کرے گا جس نے پہلی بار انہیں بنایا اور وہ ہر پیدائش کو جاننے والا ہے۔(79) جس نے تمہارے لیے سبز درخت سے ا ٓ گ پیدا کی توجبھی تم اس سے آگ جلاتے ہو۔(80) اور کیا جس نے آسمان اور زمین بنائے وہ اس بات پر قادر نہیں کہ ان جیسے اورپیدا کردے؟ کیوں نہیں !اور وہی بڑا پیدا کرنے والا، سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے۔(81) اس کا کام تو یہی ہے کہ جب کسی چیز کا ارادہ فرماتا ہے تو اس سے فرماتا ہے ، ’’ ہو جا‘‘ تو وہ ہوجاتی ہے۔(82) تو پاک ہے وہ جس کے ہاتھ میں ہر چیز کا قبضہ ہے اور اسی کی طرف تم پھیرے جاؤ گے۔(83) |

| In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 1. Ya Sin. 2. By the Quran, full of Wisdom, 3. Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 4. On a Straight Way. 5. It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 6. In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 7. The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 8. We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 9. And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 10. The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 11. Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 12. Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 13. Set forth to them, by way of a parable, the (story of) the Companions of the City. Behold!, there came messengers to it. 14. When We (first) sent to them two messengers, they rejected them: But We strengthened them with a third: they said, Truly, we have been sent on a mission to you. 15. The (people) said: Ye are only men like ourselves; and (Allah) Most Gracious sends no sort of revelation: ye do nothing but lie. 16. They said: Our Lord doth know that we have been sent on a mission to you: 17. And our duty is only to proclaim the clear Message. 18. The (people) said: for us, we augur an evil omen from you: if ye desist not, we will certainly stone you. And a grievous punishment indeed will be inflicted on you by us. 19. They said: Your evil omens are with yourselves: (deem ye this an evil omen). If ye are admonished? Nay, but ye are a people transgressing all bounds! 20. Then there came running, from the farthest part of the City, a man, saying, O my people! Obey the messengers: 21. Obey those who ask no reward of you (for themselves), and who have themselves received Guidance. 22. It would not be reasonable in me if I did not serve Him Who created me, and to Whom ye shall (all) be brought back. 23. Shall I take (other) gods besides Him? If (Allah) Most Gracious should intend some adversity for me, of no use whatever will be their intercession for me, nor can they deliver me. 24. I would indeed, if I were to do so, be in manifest Error. 25. For me, I have faith in the Lord of you (all): listen, then, to me! 26. It was said: Enter thou the Garden. He said: Ah me! Would that my People knew (what I know)! 27. For that my Lord has granted me Forgiveness and has enrolled me among those held in honor! 28. And We sent not down against his People, after him, any hosts from heaven, nor was it needful for Us so to do. 29. It was no more than a single mighty Blast, and behold! they were (like ashes) quenched and silent. 30. Ah! Alas for (My) Servants! There comes not a messenger to them but they mock him! 31. See they not how many generations before them we destroyed? Not to them will they return: 32. But each one of them all will be brought before Us (for judgment). 33. A Sign for them is the earth that is dead: We do give it life, and produce grain there from, of which ye do eat. 34. And We produce therein orchard with date-palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth therein: 35. That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks? 36. Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge. 37. And a Sign for them is the Night: We withdraw there from the Day, and behold they are plunged in darkness; 38. And the sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing. 39. And the Moon,- We have measured for her mansions (to traverse) till she returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk. 40. It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law). 41. And a Sign for them is that We bore their race (through the Flood) in the loaded Ark; 42. And We have created for them similar (vessels) on which they ride. 43. If it were Our Will, We could drown them: then would there be no helper (to hear their cry), nor could they be delivered, 44. Except by way of Mercy from Us, and by way of (world) convenience (to serve them) for a time. 45. When they are told, Fear ye that which is before you and that which will be after you, in order that ye may receive Mercy, (they turn back). 46. Not a Sign comes to them from among the Signs of their Lord, but they turn away there from. 47. And when they are told, Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you, the Unbelievers say to those who believe: Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)?- Ye are in nothing but manifest error. 48. Further, they say, When will this promise (come to pass), if what ye say is true? 49. They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves! 50. No (chance) will they then have, by will, to dispose (of their affairs), nor to return to their own people! 51. The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchers (men) will rush forth to their Lord! 52. They will say: Ah! Woe unto us! Who hath raised us up from our beds of repose? (A voice will say:) This is what (Allah) Most Gracious had promised. And true was the word of the messengers! 53. It will be no more than a single Blast, when lo! they will all be brought up before Us! 54. Then, on that Day, not a soul will be wronged in the least, and ye shall but be repaid the needs of your past Deeds. 55. Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do; 56. They and their associates will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity); 57. (Every) fruit (enjoyment) will be there for them; they shall have whatever they call for; 58. Peace! a word (of salutation) from a Lord Most Merciful! 59. And O ye in sin! Get ye apart this Day! 60. Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?- 61. And that ye should worship Me, (for that) this was the Straight Way? 62. But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand? 63. This is the Hell of which ye were (repeatedly) warned! 64. Embrace ye the (fire) this Day, for that ye (persistently) rejected (Truth). 65. That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths. But their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness, to all that they did. 66. If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the Path, but how could they have seen? 67. And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error). 68. If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand? 69. We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Quran making things clear: 70. That it may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (Truth). 71. See they not that it is We Who have created for them among the things which Our hands have fashioned cattle, which are under their dominion? 72. And that We have subjected them to their (use)? of them some do carry them and some they eat: 73. And they have (other) profits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink. Will they not then be grateful? 74. Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! 75. They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned). 76. Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose. 77. Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary! 78. And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)? 79. Say, He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation! 80. The same Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! ye kindle therewith (your own fires)! 81. Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof? Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)! 82. Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, be, and it is! 83. So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back. |
